Dhanalakshmi Weaving Works was established in 1929 by C.M.Ramunni as a proprietary concern.

Dhanalakshmi weaving works also popularly known as “ Dhantex “ is a vertically integrated fabric and textile manufacturer located in Cannannore / Kannur in the state of Kerala, India. The company is a principally 100% cotton fabric and Madeup Manufacturer with fully owned factories and process houses in and around Cannannore and Coimbatore.Dhanalakshmi, now in the third generation of management is principally a 100% Hand-Loom and Power Loom cotton fabric and made-up manufacturer and exporter.

 

Dhantex was accorded Status of Recognised Trading House by the Government of India and has acquired ISO 9002 Quality System. It is also fully compliant to S.A. Standards.
